Eigen Bi-weekly Report: EigenSecret as a Layer 2 privacy wallet will be launched soon
Project Progress 🆕
- EGIP00001 has been implemented and tested on the EigenRollup private network. This feature will inspire the EVM to support heavy computing, i.e. decentralized secret smart contract.
- EGIP00002 also is under fast development. ECIES algorithm between Nodejs and Rust has been offered, and will soon be merged into repo ieigen/eigen-crypto and ieigen/ieigen after code review.
- Another big news! EigenSecret is under very fast development and will soon be opened to our testnet users this month. EigenSecret will offer Eigen users to transfer between Eigen Network and Ethereum, this will enable the token on L1 Ethereum transmitting to L2 via the EigenRollup Gateway.
- We finished the first discussion of Eigen’s portal upgrade. And will finish the design of our brand-new portal next bi-week.

We are excited to announce that eigen-crypto has been open-sourced.
Eigen-crypto is a light and efficient cryptography library, compatible with the Intel SGX environment, aiming to support rich full EC algorithms for EigenCC. Any comments or pull requests are welcomed!
